SIZING
RINGS
It is very important to provide us with the correct size in order to avoid additional resizing which in many designs is not possible and requires a complete new production of the order. It is the full responsibility of the customer to provide us with the correct ring size when placing the order.
Please contact us if you have any questions or doubts about your size, we will happily assist you. Some rings fit in different ways depending on the specific design, it will also depend on your personal choice as some people prefer a tighter fit, others a more loose fit.
If you live in the USA we can send you a free ring sizer before making the ring.
How to measure your ring size?
We do not recommend measuring your finger with string or paper as this will not produce accurate measurements.
VISIT A LOCAL JEWELER
The best and most secure option is to visit a local jeweler and measure your intended ring finger personally.
MEASURE A RING YOU ALREADY OWN
If you own a ring that fits you well, measure the inner diameter of it.
Please follow carefully these instructions:
-
Choose a ring that fits you perfectly on the finger on which you are planning to wear the new ring.
-
A round, regular, narrow band serves the best for this purpose, like a wedding band for example.
-
Place a ruler across the middle diameter of the ring, so that the measurement is visible and send us a picture. Make sure the ruler is exactly in the middle.
OTHER TIPS TO MEASURE YOUR RING SIZE CORRECTLY
-
MEASURE YOUR FINGER IN A NORMAL TEMPERATURE ENVIRONMENT
In hot weather the fingers tend to get slightly swollen, which increases their size. On the contrary, in the cold temperatures the fingers shrink. Therefore we recommend to avoid extreme temperature conditions while measuring your finger.
-
WIDER RINGS FIT LESS THAN NARROW RINGS
The wider a ring is, the tighter it will feel. When measuring your finger size, if possible, use a ring of a similar width to the ring you plan to buy. The size of a thin ring is not a reliable reference for a wide ring.
-
FINGER SIZE DIFFERENCES
Always measure the specific finger on which you are planning to wear the ring. All fingers have different sizes and change with temperature. Your dominant hand most likely will be half size larger than your other hand. Index and middle finger are usually similar sizes. Depending on the season and temperature you can decide to wear a ring on your dominant hand during the colder weather and change to the other hand when you are in warmer climates as your fingers will get a little swollen.
RESIZING A RING
If your ring purchase doesn’t feel it’s the right size, please contact us immediately.
In many of our designs resizing is not possible as elements such as enamel, gemstones, and gold vermeil would get damaged during resizing. In these cases we will evaluate, depending on each piece how much the resizing fee will be. For some pieces resizing can be done easily, in this case this will be done complimentary, but all shipping costs will be responsibility of the customer.
Ultimately we wish you are totally satisfied with your piece and that you can wear it comfortably throughout the years.
